National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) has expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the North-Central Regional Editor of LEADERSHIP Newspapers and the League’s Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin, over the death of his beloved mother, Alhaja Munirat Hanafi Imam Olesin.
In a condolence message signed by the Chairman of NALVEJ, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi, the association described the deceased as a respected mother and community figure whose life was marked by faith, good character, sacrifice and service to humanity.
NALVEJ noted that the death of a mother is a painful loss, particularly to the family and loved ones she nurtured, but urged Alhaji Olesin and other members of the family to take solace in the worthy legacy she left behind.
The Association commiserated with the Olesin family, relatives, friends and the entire community over the loss, praying to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
It mourned this painful loss, and prayed that Almighty Allah will grant Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin and the entire family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Veterans urged the family to remain steadfast in faith and take comfort in the fact that the deceased lived a meaningful life and left behind a legacy that will continue to speak for her.
NALVEJ also prayed that Allah would grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort all those she left behind.
