A Chieftain of Yagba Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Hon. Abdulkadir Akeem, has commended the lawmaker representing the constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide, over what he described as unprecedented development across the constituency.
Hon.Abdullkadir gave the commendation after an extensive inspection tour of towns and communities across Yagba Federal Constituency to assess ongoing and completed projects executed by the lawmaker.
According to him, the tour revealed a paradigm shift in purposeful representation, with development projects touching over 710 communities in Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Local Government Areas.
At the heart of the lawmaker’s interventions, he said, is the N10 Million Community Intervention Phase 1, a decentralized development model that allows each community to identify its own priority needs.
Hon. Abdulkadir announced that under the scheme, Hon. Abejide extended N10 million to each of the 710 communities in the constituency, with funds channeled directly into projects tailored to the peculiar needs of each town and village.
He noted that the achievements go beyond physical infrastructure to include economic empowerment, which has been deeply felt at the grassroots.
According to him, the approach of Asiwaju Abejide’s contribution to the development of the good people of Yagba Federal Constituency is very remarkable and impactful.
Hon. Abdulkadir said the people are genuinely happy and deeply grateful to the lawmaker for delivering such laudable achievements within a remarkably short period.
The APC Chieftain explained that Abejide’s commitment also extends to human capital development through his personal foundation, which has consistently supported indigent citizens with educational scholarships and other interventions.
Impressed by the visible transformation, transparency and people-oriented governance, Hon. Abdulkadir declared that the people of Yagba Federal Constituency will continue to support the lawmaker beyond 2027.
He pointed out that the good people of Yagba Federal Constituency recognize true leadership when they see it and will support this people-friendly lawmaker 101 percent with their votes come 2027.
Hon. Abdulkadir also appreciated major road projects facilitated to the Constituency by Hon Abejide and prayed for divine protection, good health and more resources for the lawmaker to sustain his developmental efforts.
