Air Peace has promoted two Senior First Officers, Felix Adebambo and Emmanuel Adeniji, to the rank of Captain on its Embraer 195-E2 fleet.

The promotion was announced at a ceremony in Lagos attended by the airline’s Chairman, Allen Onyema, and senior flight operations officials.

Onyema urged the newly promoted pilots to place passenger and crew safety above operational pressure, warning them against flying aircraft they considered unserviceable or in unfavourable weather conditions.

He assured them that management would support decisions taken in the interest of safety.

The airline’s Director of Flight Operations, Captain James Onipe, said the promotions followed the pilots’ successful completion of the required training and assessments.

The newly promoted captains thanked the airline for its support and pledged to uphold its operational and safety standards.

Air Peace says the promotions reflect its investment in pilot development and the growth of Nigeria’s indigenous aviation workforce.
