INFRACON ’26: NACCIMA Delegation, Chinese investors Visit Lekki Free Zone, Alaro City

As part of their efforts to explore investment and business opportunities in Nigeria, the Chinese trade delegation who participated in INFRACON 2026 organised by NACCIMA visited the expansive Lekki Free Zone in Lagos State, touring strategic areas of the facility including the one-of-its-kind Alaro City.

They were accompanied on the visit by the Consul General of Nigeria in Guangzhou, Amb. Mairo Musa Abbas, and NACCIMA executives.

The visiting team held strategic engagements with the management of the Free Zone, exchanging business and investment ideas they are willing to actualise.

The visit provided the delegation firsthand insights into the scale of industrial development and investment taking place within the Lekki Free Zone.

During the tour, the delegation visited various areas of the zone and observed the infrastructure, construction and industrial developments currently taking place.

The visit highlighted the growing importance of the Lekki Free Zone as a major destination for manufacturing, logistics, trade and investment in Nigeria.

For their part, the Chinese trade delegation lauded the sheer scale of investments that has gone into the Lekki Free Zone, calling the facility a catalyst for economic growth, industrialization, and meaningful global partnerships.
