Class of 1967 of Ansarul Islam Primary School Okekere Ilorin has described as ‘shocking’ the sudden demise of the newly turbanned Daudu Ballah Prince Yahaya Kawu Abdulkadir.
In a Press Statement signed and released today on behalf of ‘Class of 67’ by its Coordinator Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Group sympathised with His Royal Highness the Emir of Ilorin Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, over the sad incident.
The Old Students described the departed Traditional Chief as an amiable, humble and highly respected personality whose fine character is worthy of emulation by all.
The Group also commiserated with his family over the sad loss of Alh. Yahaya Kawu Abdulkadir who was described as a great asset not only to his immediate family, the Royal Family of Ilorin Dynasty but the entire Ilorin Emirate.
The ‘Class of 67’ of Ansarul Islam Primary School Okekere Ilorin therefore called on all his classmates who are members of the Group to sympathetically turn-out for the Fidau Prayer of the deceased scheduled for Emir’s Palace Ilorin coming Wednesday 30th July, 2025 beginning from 10 o’clock in the morning.
It prayed that Almighty Allah forgive him and grant him Al-Jannatul-Firdaous and give the family the fortitude to bear the colossal loss.
