Umbrella body of All Progressives Congress APC Like-minds in 7 Local Government Areas of Kwara South tagged “Kwara South G7” has been identified as a Political Pressure Group for everyone and not against anyone.
Leader of the Group, Prince Shuaib Olanrewaju stated this is his Welcome Address at the just concluded Kwara South Political Hangout organized by Kwara South G7 with theme ” Defining Unity of Purpose for Kwara-South Senatorial District” held in Omu-Aran Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Prince Olanrewaju stated that the current political trajectory which tend towards drifting his Senatorial District away from their cherished heritage of ‘Politics of Progressive Pontification necessitated the need for the collective conscious effort to halt the drift to entrench grassroot mobilisation.
He pointed out that the objectives of the group is to set a well thought-out political agenda for the progress and development of the District within the political space and equation of the State and channel energies with relevant groups and government institutions in tackling the security challenges confronting Kwara South Senatorial District in particular and the state in general.
The Group Arrowhead assured that Kwara South G-7 is unapologetically committed to the All Progressive Congress Party under the able leadership of Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Chairman Nigerian Governors Forum.
He maintained that as a proud people of yoruba extractions, APC party naturally remain in their DNA, being the first Progressive Political Party to govern Nigeria.
Kwara South G7 pledged full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and urged people of the zone to strive to promote unity among party members and ensure every stakeholder is carried along in propagating the Renewed Hope Agenda policy of the President.
