Coalition of Civil Society organizations has launched “Team Tinubu 2027,” a citizen-driven political mobilization group backing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The formal endorsement took place during a press conference at the ZEUS Centre in Abuja on Wednesday.
A motion supporting President Tinubu’s second-term bid was moved by Maj. Gen. Charles Airhiavebere (Rtd), who serves as the Director of National Security and Intelligence for the coalition.
The motion was seconded by the Co-convener and Director of Contact and Mobilization, Hon. Agune James Malu.
Addressing journalists, the Director of Civil Society Groups within the coalition, Mr Lokoyere Geoffrey, stated that the initiative represents a coordinated national effort aimed at mobilizing citizens in support of continuity in governance.
