Days After Appointment, NACCIMA’s China Relations Executive, Oladotun Meets Chinese Minister Counselor In Abuja

 China Relations Executive of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun, has has held a high-level engagement with the Minister Counselor at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wang Yingqi.
The meeting comes days after Oladotun was appointed to the important role in recognition of his remarkable contributions to NACCIMA’s successful outing at the 138th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China, and in appreciation of his strategic acumen and trade facilitation skills.
Also present at the meeting which took place in Abuja, Nigeria’s national capital, was Zhu Xuetao, an attache to the embassy.
In a statement he issued to the press, Arc. Oladotun said the meeting discussed practical pathways to deepen China–Nigeria economic cooperation, expand trade opportunities, and accelerate Nigeria’s industrialization drive.
Arc. Oladotun praised NACCIMA President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, mni, noting his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to strengthening Nigeria’s private sector continue to inspire the collective efforts of his team.
According to him, Nigeria stands on the threshold of a major transformation, and the private sector must lead boldly in the process.
He affirmed his commitment to working under the strategic leadership of NACCIMA in moving Nigeria closer to its industrial future.
On his part, the Chinese top diplomat reaffirmed China’s full commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Nigeria.
Yingqi also pledged strong cooperation on initiatives that will support Nigeria’s national aspiration of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2030.
The meeting represents a major leap for NACCIMA’s push to deepen Nigeria’s private sector relations with China, and to open its members to the vast economic opportunities inherent in the East Asian country.
