Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has expressed optimism that Kwara United will triumph over Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko, in their CAF Confederation Cup clash.
Mallam Mogaji made this known in a virtual interview with an online platform from Ghana.
According to him, Harmony Boys well-prepared for the challenge ahead.
The Executive Chairman counseled the players that the best way to compensate the sports-loving Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is by winning the match.
Mallam Mogaji appealed to fans and supporters to remain optimistic and continue to pray for the team’s success.
He urged fans to stay positive and keep praying to return home with victory.
Kwara United will face Asante Kotoko in the first leg encounter today at 2:00 p.m. Nigerian time.
The return leg is scheduled to be held in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where the Harmony Boys will aim to seal their qualification.
