Governor AbdulRazaq Hails Statesman Author LAK Jimoh At 85

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated elder statesman, author, and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Alhaji Laziz Ayinla Kolawole (LAK) Jimoh on his 85th birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed through his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq applauded LAK Jimoh’s decades-long dedication to learning, research, and writing on contemporary issues that have shaped public understanding of Kwara State’s culture, traditions, politics, and economy, particularly the Ilorin Emirate.

The Governor described LAK Jimoh’s seminal works on Ilorin as a remarkable contribution to historical preservation, noting that they have become foundational resources for younger scholars and researchers studying Nigeria’s southernmost emirate.

Commending his roles and influence in progressive politics within the state and his longstanding service to the people, Governor AbdulRazaq wished the octogenarian many more years in good health and happiness.
