Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has dissolved the State Executive Council.
The development was disclosed in a statement today by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onwuka Nzeshi.
The statement said the dissolution, announced takes immediate effect.
It directed all Commissioners and Special Advisers to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most Senior Officers in their respective Ministries.
Governor Fubara expressed gratitude to the outgoing members of the Executive Council for their service and wished them success in their future endeavours.
