Retired Khadi, Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Justice Adam Idris Ilorin has blamed moral decline on spiritual emptiness in the contemporary society.
Justice Idris stated this while presenting a paper entitled ” Glorious Qur’an: Antidote To All Human Problems” at the ongoing Ramadan Lecture Series organized by Islamic Missionaries Association of Nigeria IMAN in Ilorin.
He noted that many people feel lost, lack inner peace and described dishonesty, greed and immorality as common societal problems.
The retired jurist submitted that all problems have solutions in the glorious Qur’an including political, psychological and emotional issues.
Justice Idris therefore charged Muslims to uphold the glorious Qur’an during adversity for solution.
In his remark, Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi encouraged Muslim faithful to always recite glorious and adhere strictly to its provisions to earn Allah’s mercy.
Also, Guest of Honour and Former Permanent Secretary Political Cabinet on the state, Alhaji Alabi Amuda urged Muslim ummah to acclimatize with the meaning of the Qur’an to be guided in their personal and spiritual engagements.
In his submission, Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Yusuf Bamigboye enumerated the authenticity of Qur’an devoid of interpolation.
Meanwhile, the lecture continues today with the topic, ” How To Fast Right” to be delivered by retired Grand Khadi, Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Ilorin, Justice Salihu Olohuntoyin Muhammad.
