Hundreds of less privileged today benefited from Alhaji Abdullahi Nurudeen-Adana’s distribution of Ramadan food package.
Distributing the package to the beneficiaries, Alhaji Nurudeen-Adana said the gesture is borne out of the need to provide succour to the downtrodden in the spirit of the holy month.
The donor pointed out that he was inspired by some generous Muslims whose philanthropic posture worthy of emulation and acknowledged those who contributed to the success of the Programme.
Earlier, in his lecture, Ilorin-based Islamic Scholar, Imam Mustapha Oloka applauded the benevolence of Alhaji Abdullahi Nurudeen-Adana and urged Muslims to embrace the generosity to alleviate the difficulty of the less privileged.
Imam Oloka maintained that charity for underprivileged is one of the ways of seeking Allah’s face for his mercy and prayed for his future endeavours
Similarly, retired Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Justice Ibrahim Abdulraheem observed no act of help to the less privileged would go unrewarded and encouraged him to sustain the gesture.
