Commissioner for Environment in Kwara State, Hon. Nafisat Musa Buge has been appointed as the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Youth Engagement, RHYE.
In her acceptance statement, Hon Buge described her appointment as a privilege and a call to greater service to the All Progressives Congress, APC, and to nation-building.
The Commissioner said the appointment offers her another opportunity to contribute to the growth of the party and to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda being championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
She commended President Tinubu for demonstrating courage in implementing difficult but necessary reforms aimed at repositioning the country for long-term growth and stability.
According to her, real progress demands tough decisions, and as progressives, members of RHYE must sustain the administration’s efforts through the re-election of the President in 2027.
Hon. Buge also pledged commitment to ensuring the APC continues on the path of victory in Kwara State under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.
She stated that the goal of RHYE in Kwara is to work for the success of the party from top to bottom, beginning with President Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Saliu Danladi, and other candidates across all elective offices in the state.
The new Coordinator lauded Governor AbdulRazaq for his commitment to youth inclusion and leadership development.
According to her, many young Kwarans currently serving in government and the party are products of that deliberate policy.
She said the Governor’s administration has backed its words with action by giving young people real opportunities to serve, contribute and grow.
Hon. Buge revealed that although this is the first public declaration of RHYE activities in Kwara, the movement has, for months, been building structures across the state.
She explained that RHYE now has active coordinators and members across the 16 local government areas, all wards, and polling units in Kwara.
The Coordinator said the decision to organize quietly before unveiling was deliberate, to ensure a solid foundation rooted in grassroots politics.
She outlined the focus of RHYE in the state to include engaging young people, strengthening grassroots presence, promoting the achievements of the Tinubu administration, and supporting the work of Governor AbdulRazaq.
Hon. Buge also expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for providing a platform for youth participation in governance, and to Governor AbdulRazaq for inspiring confidence in the future of Kwara youth.
She further thanked the National Leadership of RHYE for the confidence reposed in her, and assured that she would justify it with dedication, loyalty and hard work.
The RHYE Kwara Coordinator called on all members across the state to remain united and disciplined, saying the task ahead is enormous but achievable.
Hon Buge maintained that the appointment is not the destination but a motivation to work harder, and prayed for continued peace and progress for Nigeria, Kwara State, and the APC.
