Elerin of Erin-Ile, Oba Adebowale Adetona the First has commended the giant strides and urban renewal initiative of Kwara state government aimed at changing the narrative in the state.
Oba Adetona gave this commendation while receiving the 2025 Ramadan Committee of Kwara TV at his place in Erin-Ile, Oyun Local Government Area of the state.
Welcoming the Kwara TV 2025 Ramadan committee to his palace,The elerin of erin-ile Oba Jimoh Adebowale Adetona 1 appreciated the management of Kwara state television Authority Ilorin,for finding him worthy of the visit.
The First Class Monarch applauded Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his urban renewal initiative and infrastructural development across the state
The Monarch affirmed that the drive of Governor Abdulrazaq would boost the economy of the state and attract more investors to the state.
The Elerin, called on son’s and daughters of erin-ile both home and diaspora to always dream, think and work for the sustenance of peace in the community and it’s environment
He said chaotic and turbulence environment can never bring about progress and meaningful development.
The Monarch admonished the residents and indigenous of the community to work in unison with a view to stimulating the progress and economic potential of the community.
Oba Adetona said if peace continue to resonate in Erin- Ile both present and future generation would certainly reap the fruit of peaceful co-existence.
Earlier, Chairman of the 2025 Kwara TV Ramadan Committee, Abubakar Hassan who led the delegation to Elerin palace had said the proposal put forward to Elerin for sponsorship of this year Ramadan lecture is part of the commitment of the station to promote religious,life and doctrines in the state being a family, friendly and socially responsible station.
Abubakar said the Programme will give the community an opportunity to know more about the only state TV and further project the image of Erin-ile to the world.
In attendance during the visit were members of the Elerin in Council among who are the Baale of Oginsado Compound, Lamidi Obadamosi, Chief Elemesi, Abdulwahab Soliu, Baale Oke Ore Alimi Popoola among others.
